Todd Barron shipped his first commercial game, The Covenant, for the Amiga in 1991. He owned and operated a computer animation studio until 1997 and built coin-op/arcade titles at Merit Industries until 1999. He authored two books on Game Programming with C++ by 2003, and since then he’s led enterprise programs in software engineering, product development, data management, analytics, cloud, and artificial intelligence as a executive and as a hands-on architect today. Todd still writes games for iOS, Android, and PC, often in Unreal Engine, bringing the same agent-driven design he used in the ’90s to today’s “agentic AI.”
